Obituary of Elijah Edward Padgett

Heaven gained an angel, Elijah Edward Padgett, when he passed gently into the arms of Jesus at his home in Mansfield, PA, on Monday, August 23, 2021. He was born on March 2, 2021, a son of Daniel Padgett and Kristen Tokarz. He was loved by so many in his short time on Earth. He enjoyed most of his time playing at our beloved neighbors' house with his favorite playmate, Hailey Fisher. Their pow-wows will never be forgotten. Elijah had a very beautiful smile with a contagious laugh, and he knew how to make everyone laugh. He loved attention and knew how to get it. Elijah enjoyed watching colored lights, animal shows, going on car rides to feel the wind, and hearing music. He was very active and loved to be on the move. Elijah is survived by his parents; paternal grandparents, Edward and Debra Padgett of Millerton, PA; uncle, Brian Padgett of Millerton, PA; two brothers; godfather, Derick Fisher; godmother, Ashley Hanes of Mansfield, PA; adopted aunts, Mel Hubler and Jackie Fake of Mansfield; adopted uncle, Jake Miller. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Faye Tokarz. A celebration of life for close family and friends will be held on at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
