Obituary of Shirley Ann Tice

Shirley Ann (Willson) Tice, age 66, of Mansfield, PA, died on Thursday, April 12, 2007, in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Shirley was born on March 18, 1941, in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Elroy and Eva (Swanson) Willson. She and her husband, Harold L. Tice, celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on March 5, 2007. Prior to her retirement, Shirley was employed by Mansfield State College, American Silk Label and served as a greeter for Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Church of the New Covenant and enjoyed crocheting, books and artistic crafts. In addition to her husband, Harold, Shirley is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Moria Tice of Gates, NY, Thomas and Barb Tice of Roseville, PA, Stephen and Melinda Tice of Mainesburg, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ian Atherton of Hudson, NH; eleven grandchildren, Cody Garrison, Kristin, Brandi, Clarice, Jordan, Abigail, Kyle, Nathan and Seth Tice, Victoria and Morgan Atherton; and an aunt, Phyllis Swanson of Blossburg, PA. Shirley was predeceased by a son, Todd David Tice in 1992. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory and Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the New Covenant, 310 Extension Street, Mansfield, PA, with Rev. James Revie and Rev.
