Obituary of Wendel McClure

Wendel Louis McClure, age 80, of Mansfield, PA died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at home. He was born on June 21, 1941, in Troy, PA, a son of Lee and Lucille (Mitchell) McClure. Wendel worked as a Serviceman for North Penn Gas and UGI. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, spending time with family and with his grandchildren, and with his animals. Wendel is survived by two sons, Michael (Debra) McClure of Mansfield, PA, and Danny (Sally) McClure of Troy, PA; a daughter Kelly (Tom) Dixon of Canandaigua, NY; six grandchildren, Macy (Skylar) King, Andrew Dixon, Mallory Dixon, Margaret McClure, Cheyenne McClure, and Thad Bentley; four great grandchildren, David Lindquist, Finn Micelli, Karter King, and Nevaeh Woelfel; a brother, Marshall "Pete" (Marilyn) McClure of Roseville, PA; and a sister, Mary (Robert) Trowbridge of Wellsboro, PA. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Todd McClure; two grandchildren, Chad Everett in 2004, and Brian Everett in 2017; two great grandchildren, Maverick and Chloe McClure; and two brothers, Lavere and Richard McClure.
