Obituary of Gary Morey

Gary F. Morey, age 62, of Lawrenceville, PA, formerly of Cocoa Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He was born on March 10, 1959, in Huntsville, AL, a son of Franklin and Louise (Graham) Morey. Gary was the husband of Bonnie (Hill) Morey. Gary loved his joined family with all his heart, from family vacations in Florida to Sunday night dinners. He spent the last 10 years with his wife, Bonnie, living his dream of building and designing a successful restaurant, Florida Fryed Chicken in Tioga, PA. Gary loved his employees and his customers. He also enjoyed fishing, carpentry and going to the beach. Gary is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Justin, Ashley (Thomas), Anna (R.J.); Jessica (Shawn), Kelli (Jon), and Brian (Tiffany); nine grandchildren, Ava Florida, Keely, Benji, Collins, Madelyn, Ava New York, Peyton, Aubree and Piper; brother, Mike; sisters, Pam and Karen; special mother-in-law, Marguerite; and his favorite dog, Shadow. In keeping with Gary's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in Gary's name to the East Lindley Baptist Church, 10039 Tannery Creek Rd., Corning, NY, 14830. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA., is assisting the family.
