Obituary of Janice Paris

Janice (Fish) Paris, age 80, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on October 4, 1940, in Ansonia, PA, a daughter of Edgar and Susan (Snell) Fish. Janice was the widow of the late Glenn E. Paris, who died on November 7, 2018. She worked as a manager at McDonald's Restaurant in Mansfield, PA and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking, canning, and watching western movies in her spare time. Janice is survived by her sons, Harry (Mary) Paris of Blossburg, PA, Jim (Annette) Paris of Mansfield, PA, and Fred Rouse of Blossburg, PA; daughter Karrie (Jason) Diffenderfer of Buffalo, NY; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Connie) Fish of Mansfield, PA and Myron Fish of Three Springs, PA, and a sister, Sharlene (Tom) Shoff of Williamsport, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; a brother; her husband, Glenn; and a son, Dan Paris in 1991. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1pm at Canoe Camp Church of Christ 1103 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
