Obituary of Kirk Joseph Ruocco

Kirk Joseph Ruocco, age 32, of Corning, NY, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on October 7, 2021. He was born on May 7, 1989, in Corning, NY, a son of Anthony Ruocco and Geraldine (Orso) Martz. Kirk worked as a customer service representative for Dandy Mart in Corning, NY. He was proud of his job and loved being employed there. Kirk enjoyed going to the Game Shoppe, science fiction, model building, computer games, anime, role-playing, and tabletop games. Kirk loved Halloween, Christmas, and his birthdays. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and helping others. Kirk is survived by his father, Anthony Ruocco of Westfield, PA; his mother and stepfather, Geraldine (Michael) Martz of Savona, NY; a brother, William "Billy" Ruocco of Westfield, PA; a sister, Angela (James) Ruocco-Bates of Corning, NY; and many friends and family members, too numerous to list, who loved and adored him. A celebration of life/Halloween sendoff will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Game Shoppe, 11 E. Pulteney St., Corning, NY (on the corner of Bridge Street).
