Obituary of Miriam E. Marvin

Miriam E. Marvin, age 91, formerly of Covington, PA, died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro, PA. Miriam was born December 25, 1916 in Covington, PA, a daughter of Charles and Anna (Patterson) Fessler. Miriam was the wife of the late Richard W. Marvin. She enjoyed the outdoors. Miriam is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Chuck and Diane Marvin of Sayre, PA, Richard Dick and Lois Marvin of Spencerport, NY; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Richard Rick, and Megan; 3 great grandchildren, Cody, Benjamin and Joshua; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Jane Fessler of Covington, PA; two sisters, Winona Messner of Covington, PA, Arlene Kuster of Blossburg, PA. Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; brothers, Harry and Francis Fessler; a sister, Ardis Baity in 2007. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 29, 2008 from Noon to 1:00 P.M. at the Covington United Methodist Church, Covington, PA. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Sherry Good officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery.
