Obituary of Paul J. McCarthy

Paul J. McCarthy, age 90, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at his home. He was born on November 17, 1930, in Ridgebury, PA, the son of Frank and Julia McCarthy. Paul was married to Ann T. (Labosky) McCarthy who passed away on January 19, 2021. He was self-employed as a farmer and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War. Paul enjoyed mowing his lawn, planting/gardening, and yard-scaping. Paul is survived by his sons, Frank (Sara) McCarthy of Mansfield, PA, and David (Brenda) McCarthy of Lewisburg, PA; and a daughter, Donna (Wayne) Krause of Middleburg, PA; brother, Francis (Shirley) McCarthy of Gillett, PA; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, brothers, Leo and John McCarthy, and sisters, Louise Warren and Helen Owen. In honoring Paul's wishes, there will be no services.
