Obituary of Hazel Conway

Hazel Conway, age 86, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Sayre Health Care Center in Sayre, PA. She was born on July 6, 1935 in Bosler, WY, a daughter of Benjamin and Mable M. (Moore) Smith. Hazel was a member of River of Life Fellowship, 4H Leadership, and volunteered at His Thousand Hills. Hazel is survived by four sons, Timothy Whitney of WY, Ira Whitney of PA, Harry (Mary) Paris of Blossburg, PA, James Paris of PA; one daughter, Deborah Moore of NY; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters Rebecca, Joanna, and Martha Whitney;her husband, George Burr; a son, Daniel Paris; six brothers, Russell, Earl, Walter, Clarence, Vernon, and Gilbert; and five sisters, Mary, Ellen, Dorothy, Gwen, and Sylvia. In honoring Hazel's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Chance Animal Care Sanctuary 725 Gee Rd. Tioga, PA 16946. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
