Obituary of Clyde Fitzgerald French

Clyde Fitzgerald French, age 49, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at his home, Martha Lloyd Westgate, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on May 8, 1972, in Coudersport, PA, a son of Glenn French, Sr. and Norma (Snyder) French. Clyde loved babies, frogs, playing UNO, being around women, and watching the Dukes of Hazzard. His favorite foods included root beer, French vanilla flavored creamer, cheese balls, and pepperoni pizza. Clyde is survived by his mother, Norma; siblings, Gladys (Richard) Martin of Shinglehouse, PA, Charles Zinck of Tioga, PA, Howard Zinck of Texas, Deborah Rafferty of Harrisburg, PA, Richard French of Dryden, NY, and Sidonia (Dennis) Vanocker of Roulette, PA; nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. A graveside service will be held at Tioga Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, PA at a later date.
