Obituary of Misty Day-Stanley

Misty Day-Stanley, age 54, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born on January 25, 1967 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Frederick Charles and Ruth Elaine (Feijo) Day. Misty was married to Stephen Stanley. She worked The Vision Center in Horseheads, NY. Misty enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing, and shopping. She was a huge supporter and member of the Arbor Day Foundation. Misty was also a baton instructor. Misty is survived by her husband; a daughter, Alaina (Steven) Satterly of Lawrenceville, PA; a granddaughter, Eliza Jean Satterly; a brother, Freddie Day of Nelson, PA; a sister, Donna Jean Day of Beaver Dams, NY; and a niece Emily Gilbert of Amarillo, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life will be held on January 29, 2022 from Noon until 2:00PM at the Nelson Fire Hall, 105 Village Drive, Nelson PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
