Obituary of Edward "Turk" Cruttenden

Edward "Turk" T. Cruttenden, age 70, of Morris, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, FL. He was born on December 24, 1951, in Miami, FL, the son of Edward and Patricia (Layton) Cruttenden. Turk was married to Jann (Miller) Cruttenden. He worked as an electrician for Osram Sylvania and, after retiring from Osram, he was employed by DCNR and worked on the road crew, which was his favorite job. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Turk was a member of the Fahnestock Rod and Gun Club and he enjoyed spending time there with his friends. He was an avid turkey hunter, fly fisherman, archery hunter, and downhill skier. Along with his passion for Jeeps, Turk's enthusiasm for the outdoors was contagious, and he loved sharing his experiences with his friends while sipping on a cup of coffee. He and his wife, Jann, loved traveling throughout the United States with their camper. Turk was a generous, kind person who went out of his way to help his family and friends whenever he had the opportunity to share his many talents. Turk is survived by his wife; three brothers, James, Scot (Linda), and Richard (Penny) Cruttenden; a sister, Sharon (Bob) Klinger; brothers in-law, Steve (Marilyn) Miller and Mark (Valerie) Miller. He is also survived by nephews, Corey Klinger and Adam Cruttenden, and nieces, Samantha Cruttenden and Kelsey Cruttenden. In honoring Turk's wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA, is assisting the family.
