Obituary of Phyllis F. Baker

Phyllis F. Baker, age 86, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Carleton Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on March 10, 1935 in Corning, NY, a daughter of Anton and Nellie (Corwin) Hartman. Phyllis worked as an inspector and operator at Corning Glass Works. She was a member of Presho Methodist Church and Loyal Order Moose in Elkland, PA. Phyllis enjoyed shopping and eating out. Phyllis is survived by her son, Timothy (Colleen) Price of Nelson, PA; two grandchildren, Shawn (Nicole) Price and Joshua (Heather) Price; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Davis; and seven brothers and sisters, Donald, Marlea, Pearl, Millie, Roger, Elton, and Marty. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1pm at Nelson Cemetery in Nelson, PA.
