Obituary of Debra Cieri

Debra J. (Degarmo) Cieri, age 66 of Gillet, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Debra was born on August 15, 1955, in Elmira, NY, a daughter of Paul and Virginia Degarmo. Debra is the wife of Thomas S. Cieri, with whom she would have celebrated 48 years of marriage. She worked as a machine operator at Trayer Products in Elmira, NY, and enjoyed puzzles, computer games, fishing, camping, collecting owls and squirrels, as well as John Wayne movies. Debra is survived by her husband Thomas S. Cieri; a son, Steven Cieri of Scranton, PA; daughter, Tanya Cieri of Gillet, PA; grandchildren, Kyle Cieri, Robert Gillis, Corey Teribury, Alexis Cieri, Adam Jerzak, Tiffany Jerzak, and Adrianna Blake; brothers, Clark (Angie) Degarmo, John Degarmo, and Roman (Kelly) Degarmo; sisters, Patricia Degarmo, and Sandy (Danny) Fisher; close friend, Sue Coleman; many family members, and many, many other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Polly Cain, two brothers, Paul and Jacob Degarmo, brother-in-law Scott Disbrow, and nephews John Paul Degarmo and Edward Disbrow. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3 P.M. with Rev. Harry Colegrove officiating.
