Obituary of Betty F. Wood

Betty F. Wood, age 86, of Wellsboro, PA, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Betty was born September 17, 1921 in Dolgeville, NY, a daughter of Chauncey and Bertha (Brownell) Failing. She was the widow of Kenneth H. Wood. Betty worked as a dental hygienist teacher, and a part-time postal worker. Betty is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Debbie Wood of Clayton, NY; a daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Blair Ribeca of Wellsboro, PA; a sister, Ruth Wood of Zephyrhills, FL; a niece, Nancy Hayen of Mt. Vision, NY. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, and a son, Kent Wood. In keeping with Bettys wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jacquelyn A.
