Obituary of Raymond Leonard Lamonski

Raymond Leonard Lamonski, age 84, of Morris Run, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on February 17, 1938 in Blossburg, PA, a son of John and Rose (Bombaski) Lamonski. Raymond was married to Mary Jane Lamonski. He worked for the Sewer and Water Plant in Blossburg, PA. Raymond was a member of the Holy Child Catholic Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Raymond is survived by his daughter, Mary Frances (Kenneth) Roupp of Blossburg, PA; a son, John (Theresa) Lamonski of Morris Run, PA; four grandchildren, Richard S. Stanley, Jr., Joseph R. Stanley, John Lamonski, and Amanda Caron; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a brother, John (June) Lamonski of GA. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane Lamonski; and eleven brothers and sisters. In honoring Raymond's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Blossburg, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
