Obituary of Lynn R. Keltz

Lynn Keltz Sr. age 58 of Troy, PA went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Janette (Kenyon) Keltz with whom he celebrated 37 years of marriage on May 1st. Lynn was born on May 12, 1950 a son of Harold Pete and Marjorie (Wood) Keltz. Lynn graduated from Canton High School in 1968. He had been an employee of GTE Sylvania in Towanda, PA. Lynns favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, woodworking and collecting WWII German memorabilia. Lynn is survived by his wife Janette, two sons and daughters-in-law Lynn Jr. and Alice Keltz of AUE, Theron M. and Jennifer Keltz of Troy, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Patricia E. and Jim Buckley of Sayre, PA; six grandchildren Warren Long, Zane Long, Jessika Buckley, Brittany Keltz, Kayla Keltz, Marriah Keltz; two brothers and sisters-in-law Dale A.(Lola) Keltz of Canton, PA, his twin brother Larry (Ronda) Keltz of Bartlett, TN. Lynn was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Margie (Wood) Keltz Kenyon, father Harold Pete Keltz, and step father Robert E. Bob Kenyon. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 1 PM to 2 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Blackall officiating. Family and friends are welcome at the Keltzs home after the memorial service please bring a dish to pass. Burial will be at a later date in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Lynns memory to the Guthrie Hospice Towanda, PA or to the American Cancer Society 1948 Third St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
