Obituary of Jean Carlson

Jean (Brigham) Carlson, age 81, of Mansfield, PA died Thursday, July 10, 2008 in the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. She was the wife of the late Howard Carlson, Sr. Jean was born on January 9, 1927 in Tioga, PA, a daughter of Elmer and Evelyn (Jackson) Brigham. Jean graduated from Mansfield High School. She had been employed by Paper Magic. Jean enjoyed being a wife and mother. Jean is survived by her son, Howard Carlson Jr. of Mansfield, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; parents; two brothers, Allen Brigham, and John Jack Brigham; and a sister, Alwyn Owlett. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing at 8 PM at the funeral home with Denny Garner officiating. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Charleston Twp.
