Obituary of Garland Green

Garland B. Green, age 91, of Tioga, PA died Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was the husband of Dorothy (Patt) Green. Garland was born on July 1, 1915 in Hyndman, PA the son of Zebiediah and Bessie (Aberle) Green. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Tioga, PA. Garland was a WWII US Army Veteran. Garland is survived by his wife; two sons and daughters in-law, Albert and Carole Green of Huston, TX, Gene and Helen Green of Humble, TX; a step son and step daughter-in-law, Tim and Kim Kinton of Naples, NY; a step daughter and step son-in-law, Jill and Fred Wesley of Prattsburgh, NY; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Garland was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Green in 1980 and a brother, Albert J. Green. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Tioga, PA, with Rev. Albert Leonard as celebrant.
