Jacquelyn A. Buckheit, Funeral Director/Owner

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Sackett Buckheit was raised in Tioga, PA. She graduated from Williamson Jr and Sr. High School, received her bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University, and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.
Jackie has been a licensed funeral director for 30 years. She is a trained bereavement counselor and meets with nearly every family served by the funeral home. Jackie and her husband David Buckheit reside in Mansfield, PA and together they own and operate Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. They have two daughters Alexa “Lexi” Buckheit Toth and Jourdyn Buckheit, both of whom assist with the funeral business while pursuing their own individual dreams. Alexa runs a horse farm and teaches school. Jourdyn is pursuing her goal to become a dentist by attending dental school. Jackie is also a proud grandmother to Everleigh Jo Toth. Opening her own funeral home in Tioga County in 2001 has been the realization of long-held dream for Jackie.


David Buckheit, Funeral Assistant/Owner 
Dave retired from Osram Sylvania from a managerial position. He and his wife, Jackie, currently own and operate Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. together. He assists with funeral services and monument production/installation. Dave and Jackie are proud parents and grandparents of two daughters and a granddaughter. 









Rich Vacula, Part Time Funeral Assistant 

Rich has lived in Mansfield since 1971 when his job brought him to the area.  He retired from the Pennsylvania State Police in 1998.  He and his wife, Ann Marie, have one daughter and three grandchildren. 





Donald Noblit, Part Time Funeral Assistant 

Donald is a retired school teacher from the Northern Tioga School District and resides in Lawrenceville, PA.





Mark Scureman, Full Time Funeral Assistant 

Mark is a Tioga County native and a veteran of the US Navy, having served during the first Gulf War. The
son of local funeral director C. Haines Scureman, Mark has been involved with the funeral business for
most of his life.





Rani Simpson, Office Manager 

Rani grew up in Mansfield and graduated from Penn State University, Corning Community College, and Capella University. She is a Registered Nurse BSN at Arnot Ogden Medical Center and lives in Mansfield with her husband, Alec and their three dogs. 





​Harry Colegrove, Full Time Funeral Assistant

Harry is a Tioga County native and has lived in this region all his life. He graduated from Williamson High School, attended Mansfield University and the Berean School of the Bible. Harry spent 20 years as Senior Pastor at Harvest Family Fellowship in Liberty, PA. He is married to his high school sweetheart Brenda, and has 4 adult children.
