Obituary of Betty Jane Tomashunas

Betty Jane Tomashunas, age 78, of Lawrenceville, PA, died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Bradford County Manor, Troy, PA. Born in Shickshinny, PA on June 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Florence (Stackhouse) and Edward Taylor. Betty was a 1956 graduate of Shickshinny High School. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Anthony "Tony" Leo Tomashunas, on April 14, 2005; a son, John, who died on October 3, 2003; a brother, Francis Taylor, in May of 1945; and a sister, Mary Kuzniak. Surviving are a daughter, Betsy Ann Pantano of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and a son, Anthony Edward Tomashunas of Dover, DE; 3 grandchildren, Taylor and Sean Pantano, and John Tomashunas, Jr.; a sister, Sara Whitebread of Shickshinny, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Harold Burrell officiating.
