Obituary of Lloyd Allan Bacon

Lloyd Allen "Cook" Bacon, Sr., age 62, of Middlebury Center, PA, died at his home on Monday, December 2, 2013. He was born April 28, 1951 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Roy and Lillian (Nichols) Bacon. Lloyd was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He worked in farming and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Lloyd is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Scott and Kimberly Bacon; a daughter and son-in-law, Stacy Marie and Sheldon Roeder; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Dan (Michelle), Roy and Norm (Carol) Bacon, all of Wellsboro, PA; his former wife and mother of his children, Dorothy Rice of Middlebury, PA. He was predeceased by a son, Lloyd Allen Bacon, Jr. in 2009, and sisters, Luella, Laura May, and Ruth. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Faron Jelliff officiating. Military honors by the Tioga County Honor Guard.
