Obituary of Henry Meyer

Henry Meyer, Jr., age 89, of Nelson, PA, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Henry was born May 19, 1924 in Point Pleasant, NJ, a son of Henry, Sr. and Caroline (Elers) Meyer. He and his wife, Elva A. (Losinger) Meyer would have celebrated 69 years of marriage on July 7, 2014. Henry was a self-employed truck driver for 40 years, and was a greeter at WalMart until he retired. He was a member of the Tuscarora Baptist Church in Addison, NY. Henry was in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Henry is survived by his wife, Elva; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur Henry and Diane Meyer of Turbotville, PA, Stephen Jay Meyer of Nelson, PA, David B. and Terri Meyer of Montandon, PA; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Janice Ann and John Bradshaw of Tioga, PA, Susan Meyer Fackler of Nelson, PA, Michelle Marie and Clifford Setzer of Nelson, PA; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
