Obituary of Daniel F. Bacon

Daniel F. Bacon, age 64, of Wellsboro, PA, died Monday, June 2, 2014 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born July 11, 1949 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Roy and Lillian (Nichols) Bacon. Daniel was married to Michele (McQuinn) Bacon. He was employed at Dietrich's Milk Plant for 38 years. Daniel attended God's Family Fellowship Church, enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, fishing, gardening, and taking rides in his truck to watch wildlife. Daniel is survived by his wife, Michele; 2 sons, Daniel F. Bacon II of Wellsboro, PA, Thomas Bacon of Canton, PA; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and James Cherwinski of Wellsboro, PA, Debrah and William Bacon of Jersey Shore, PA, Amy and Joel Molloy of Westfield, PA; 3 grandchildren, Samara, Kaleb and Kendra; 3 brothers and a sister-in-law, Norman and Carol Bacon of Little Marsh, PA, Roy Bacon of Keeneyville, PA, Raymond Bacon of TN, as well as extended family. Daniel was predeceased by brothers, Bill and Lloyd Bacon, and sisters, Ruth, Laura Mae and Lewella. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. to noon at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at Noon at the funeral chapel with Pastor Joe Wagner officiating.
