Obituary of Vernon N Morgan

Vernon N. Morgan, age 72, of Mainesburg, PA, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home. Vernon was born September 21, 1941 in Elmira, NY, a son of Nelson and Lucille (Wilkins) Morgan. He was married to Margaret "Peggy" A. (Carlson) Morgan. Vernon was a member of the Bakerburg Community Church and the N.R.A. He was a life long dairy farmer, enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden, and snowmobiling, cutting firewood, and spending time with his family. Vernon is survived by his wife, Peggy; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Tami and Robert Bechtel of Gillett, PA, Jannette and Mark Killian, Jr. of Canton, PA, Sonya and Joseph Route, Ogdensburg, PA; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Levi, Desiree, Dylan, Darren and Daniel; 2 great grandchildren, Raelyn and Aralyn; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Larry Smith, Ruby and George Blow, Linda and Floyd McCaslin, all of Mainesburg, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Bakerburg Community Church, 197 Gray Valley Road, Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at the church at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor David Dressler officiating. A private burial will be in King Hill Cemetery, State Road, Mainesburg, PA.
