Obituary of Lynden Ingalls

Lynden "Lyndie" Ingalls, age 90, of Blossburg, PA, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the Samaritan House in Wellsboro, PA. Lynden was born August 11, 1924 in Covington, PA a son of Thomas and Hazel (Bonnell) Ingalls. He was the husband of the late Marie (Strong) Ingalls of passed away in Feb. 2007. Lynden was retired from Ward Manufacturing. He was a member of the American Legion and a WWII Army veteran. Lynden was a Purple Heart recipient. Lynden is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susan Ingalls of Lubbock, TX; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Carol and Leonard McMasters of Virginia Beach, VA, Janet Ingalls of Green Cove Springs, FL; 5 grandchildren, William Merrick, Jr., Jonathan McMasters, Ashley McMasters, Christopher Ingalls and Matthew Ingalls. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie, 2 daughters, Linda Merrick, Patricia Ingalls; 2 sons, Thomas Ingalls, Kenneth Ingalls; a sister, Mavis Copp. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to Noon, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral chapel with Rev. Michelle Sommerville officiating. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery, Covington, PA.
