Obituary of Robert William Fortney

Robert William Fortney, age 52, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his residence. Robert was born on January 3, 1963 in Watkins Glen, NY, the son of Daniel Benjamin and Madeline Helen (Ferranti) Fortney. He was employed as a Public Relations officer with ReMax in Lancaster, PA. Robert enjoyed home interior design, crafts and his dogs, Bochio and Alexander. Robert is survived by eight sisters, Linda Smith, Karen Crum, Nancy Dawes, Sheila Smith, Jeanette Witucki, Vivian Miller, Susan Overpeck, Arloween Witucki and two brothers, Daniel Fortney and Raymond (Larry) Haslett, numerous nieces, nephews, caregivers Jesse Wilson (nephew) and Victoria Anderson, a special friend, and a very special friend, Thomas Logan. He was predeceased by a brother, Terry Fortney. A small memorial service will be held for family and friends at Robert's home, 2091 Yale Street, Wellsboro on January 24, 2015 from Noon on.
