Obituary of Joseph "Dick" Dawson

Joseph "Dick" Dawson, age 79, of Tioga, PA, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Corning Hospital, Corning, NY. Dick was born July 22, 1935 in West Chester, PA, a son of Mary H. (Dawson) Marsh. He was married to Frances (Roof) Dawson. Dick was an elementary school teacher at Owen J. Roberts School District. He had a Master's Degree in Education from Temple University and a BS from West Chester. He was a member of the Square Dance Club in Bath, NY and a U.S. Army veteran. Dick is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Amy Dawson, Jr. of Boyertown, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Roger Wadsworth of Cape May, NJ; 7 grandchildren, Kasey, Jenna, Jacob, and Cheyanne Dawson, Erica Winn, Adrianne Armbruster, Nicholas Wadsworth; 8 great grandchildren.
