Obituary of Carol Anne Stephens

Carol Anne Stephens, age 75, of Tioga, PA, died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at her home. She was born September 13, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of Charles and Anna (Nelson) Sheeler. Carol was the widow of Frederick Charles Stephens. She worked as a bank teller before she retired. She enjoyed doing crafts. Carol is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Helen Fox of Tioga, PA, Kenneth and Debbie Fox of Doylestown, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Joe Scarpone of Palm Coast, FL;3 step-sons, Frederick (Laura) Stephens, III of VA, William Stephens of Succasunna, NJ, Barry Stephens of NJ; a step-daughter, Tracy Makin of Dansville, PA; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Joanne Sheeler of Stanton Island, NY, Charles and Joyce Sheeler of TX; a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jack Capozucca of Brooklyn, NY. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Billy Sheeler. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
