Obituary of Gloria B. Smith

Gloria B. Smith, age 80, of Wellsboro, PA, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 9, 1935 in Houlton, ME, a daughter of Clayton and Alice (McBride) Bragdon. Gloria was the widow of Dana M. Smith, Sr., who passed away in 1971. She loved to cook and bake, spend time with her family, and always had a smile on her face. Gloria is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dana, Jr. and Patsy Smith of Naughtuck, CT; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Steven Otis of Wellsboro, PA; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Bruce Smith, Sr., and 2 grandchildren. In keeping with Gloria's wishes, there will be no services. A private burial will be held at the convenience of family.
