Obituary of William E. Wilson

William E. "Bill" Wilson, Jr., age 77, of Tioga, PA, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born August 18, 1938 in Corning, NY, a son of William E. Sr. and Wilma (Kilburn) Wilson. Bill is survived by his wife, Beatrice E. (Monroe) Wilson. He retired from Corning, Inc. in 1996 with 40 years of service as a decorator. He enjoyed woodworking and his family. Bill will be remembered for the stories of things he did in his life (he had so many). He will be missed every day til we join him in Heaven. So long for now, Bill. Bill is survived by his wife, Beatrice; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, William Wilson, III of Campbell, NY, Earl and Bobbi Wilson of Horseheads, NY; 3 stepsons, Walter Dilly, Jr. of Savona, NY, David and Patsy Dilly of Lawrenceville, PA, Michael and Brenda Dilly of Lawrenceville, PA; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Todd Buckley of Corning, NY, Bonnie and John Skinkle of Avoca, NY; a stepdaughter, Tina and John Rothenburgh of Lawrenceville, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Goldie Wilson of Beaver Dams, NY; 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by a brother, Robert Wilson, and a sister, Laura Overstrom. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Joshua O'Neil officiating. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA.
