Obituary of Gene E. Lewis

Gene E. Lewis, age 86, of Mansfield, PA, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born April 8, 1930 in Harrison Valley, PA, a son of Clayton and Frances (English) Lewis. Gene was married to Edeltraut (Gerwatowski) Lewis who survives. He worked at Lewis Homes as a Mobilehome Technician until he retired. Gene was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Gene is survived by his wife, Edeltraut; a son, Michael Gene Lewis of Wilmington, DE; 2 daughters, Lori Ann (Thomas) Hanes of Coatesville, PA; Mary McNair of VA; 2 grandchildren, Alyssa Renee and Myan Michael. Gene was predeceased by a son, Harold Lewis on January 10th, 1969. A private graveside service will be held Oct. 7, 2016, at 2pm. Burial will be in Champlain Cemetery, Westfield, Pa.
