Obituary of Charlotte Bump

Charlotte Bump, age 93, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Broad Acres. She was born on October 22, 1924 in Watrous, PA, a daughter of Walter and Daisy (Ronalder) Hulbert. Charlotte was the wife of the late James C. Bump. She enjoyed bingo, gardening, flowers, cooking, sewing, traveling and spending time with her family. Charlotte is survived by three sons, Franklin Bump of Knoxville, PA, Walter (Barbara) Bump of Mansfield, PA, William Bump of Mainesburg, PA; two grandchildren whom she raised, Roseann (Dan) Beach of Mansfield, PA, Jason Bump of Knoxville; 12 additional grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; a son, James R. Bump; three brothers, Ronald, Charles and Walter Hurlbert; four sisters, Edith Short, Mary Valentine, Clara Green and Roberta Lappa. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5PM to 7PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7PM with Pastor Tom Harmic officiating. Burial will be held in Lick Run Cemetery.
