Obituary of Janice Ann Davis

Janice A. (Howe) Davis, age 75, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Corning Hospital. She was born on January 5, 1943 in Tioga, PA, a daughter of Paul and Cora (Walton) Howe. Janice was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Davis who died in 2014. She loved to cook and paint. Her passion was her family. Janice enjoyed her family pictures, genealogy and spending time with her beloved dog Daisy. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth A. Davis, Jr. of Mansfield, PA, Anthony R. Davis of Nelson, PA, Marty A. (Robin) Davis of Tioga, PA; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Davis of Lawrenceville, PA; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, John (Jeanie) Howe of Tioga, PA; two sisters, Judy (Don) Bruner of MO, Marilyn (Roger) Wood of Tioga; two sisters-in-law, Helen Howe of NH, Sandy Cleveland of Middlebury, PA; a special uncle, Fred (Monalee) Johnston of Mansfield, PA; special niece, Angie Gleason; a special nephew, Lucas Gleason. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; a son, Timothy J. Davis in 2017; a daughter, Penny J. Davis in 2006; three brothers, Henry, Jessie and Paul Howe. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 8PM with Pastor Debbie Button officiating.
