Obituary of Norman Hilfiger

Norman Hilfiger, age 79, of Covington, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at The Green Home in Wellsboro. He was born on March 1, 1940 in Mainesburg, the son of Morgan and Hazel (Fish) Hilfiger. Norman was married to Eloise (Bower) Hilfiger. He was a self-employed logger. Norman is survived by his wife; two sons, Richard Hilfiger and Donald Hilfiger, both of Elmira, NY; a daughter, Wanda (Harvey) Rumsey of Covington; and a sister, Lois Shappee of Orangeville, PA; grandchildren Kevin (Michelle) Rumsey, Janice Rumsey (Brandon) Proctor and Jeremy (Rebekah) Hilfiger. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Morgan and Duane Hilfiger. Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow immediately at 5:00 pm with Pastor Paul Binkley officiating.
