Obituary of Geraldine V. Audinwood

Geraldine "Gerry" (Cernik) Audinwood, age 94, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Valley View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Montoursville. She was born on April 8, 1926 in New York, NY, a daughter of Godfrey and Emilie (Muttl) Cernik. Gerry was the wife of the late Roger Audinwood who passed away in 2010. She worked in manufacturing for R&S Electronics and was a member of Jackson Summit Baptist Church and attended East Lawrence Baptist Church. Gerry enjoyed growing flowers and was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Tioga. Gerry is survived by her sons, Charles (Zineb) Heater of Oviedo, FL, and Roger Heater of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Connie (Daniel) Cobb of Millerton, PA; and six grandchildren, Jack, Glenn, Misty Jo, Shelley, Youssef, Joudia, Korey, and Kimberly; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Blanche McBlain, and Emily Merinen; and a grandson, Kevin Heater. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 1:00pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Tioga.
