Obituary of Floyd Lewis White

Floyd Lewis White, age 84, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on January 15, 1936 in Charleston Twp, a son of Walter and Grace (Dawson) White. Floyd was employed by the former A&P plant in Horseheads, NY, as well as Patterson's Lumber in Wellsboro, PA. He attended Victory Church in Troy, PA. Floyd is survived by his sons, Floyd White, Jr. of Woodhull, NY, and David White of Mainesburg, PA; a daughter, Tina White of Wellsboro; two stepsons, Howard (Debbie) Losinger of Wisconsin, and Tom (Sandy) Losinger of Tioga, PA; a stepdaughter, Susan (John) Gleason of Mansfield, PA; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Mildred and Virginia; his brothers, Donald White and Walter "Buddy" White. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Church of the New Covenant, 310 Extension St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
