Obituary of James L. Stauffer

James L. Stauffer, age 84, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Clarion Hospital in Clarion, PA. He was born on May 28, 1936 in Holtwood, PA, the son of Chester and Nellie (Sprout) Stauffer. James and his wife Marilyn (Book) Stauffer celebrated 62 years of marriage on July 11, 2020. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean War. James is survived by his wife; a son, Gregory Stauffer of FL; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. In honoring James' wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in Bath National Cemetery. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
