Obituary of Scott Evan Reese

Scott Evan Reese, age 23, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 18, 1997 in Elmira, NY, a son of Glen Thomas "Tommy" and Michelle (McKay) Reese. Scott worked in distribution and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar, RC cars, gemology, and sushi. He adored his nephew, Carter. Scott is survived by his parents; two brothers, Thomas "Tommy" (Mya) Reese of Pine City, NY, and Josh (Saundra Carnright) Reese of Mansfield, PA; a sister, Moriah (Eric Russick) Reese of Wellsboro, PA; three nephews, Carter Russick, George Reese, and Maverick Reese; a niece, Reagan Reese; his best friend in the world, Jourdyn Buckheit of Mansfield, PA; a paternal grandmother, Jane Reese of Wellsboro, PA; and his maternal grandmother Anna (Ken) Keeny of Corning, NY. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Jessica Reese; maternal grandfather, Dennis Evan McKay; and paternal grandfather, Thomas L. Reese. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 3:00-5:00pm at the Church of the New Covenant, 310 Extension St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow immediately at 5:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA to assist the family with expenses.
