Obituary of Brett Ashley Brown

Brett Ashley Brown, age 39, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 18, 1981 in Elmira, NY, a son of Victor Brown and Sandra Bennett. Brett was self-employed as an arborist. He enjoyed cutting wood and trees and making jokes. Brett is survived by his mother, Sandra Bennett of Lawrenceville, PA; his fiancée, Toni Chelle of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter, Nyoka Brown of Ithaca, NY; three brothers, Bradley Brown of Corning, NY, Stephen "Jamie" Wheaton of Peachtree City, GA, and Jefferey (Hope) Wheaton of Addison, NY; two sisters, Colleen (Ernest) Pozzi of Towanda, PA, and Kelly Loysch of Elmira, NY. He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Stacie Jo Brown. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 4-6pm at the Addison American Legion, 85 Maple St. Addison, NY 14801 with Pastor Scott Towner officiating. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
