Obituary of Pauline Mizdail

Our beloved and precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend Pauline T. Mizdail, age 93, of Mansfield, PA, passed peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021 from this life, and was welcomed into the wide open arms of our God and Savior Jesus Christ to her next life. She was born in Wilkes-Barre Township on November 9, 1927, a daughter of Peter and Eugenia (Rohovie) Hancher. Pauline was the wife of the late Dennis J. Mizdail, Sr., who passed away on June 11, 2010. She was a homemaker, a member of Holy Child Catholic Church, Good Neighbors, The Ladies' Guild, Curves, The Red Hatters and generously volunteered her time to many other good causes. Pauline is survived by her sons, Dennis Mizdail, Jr. of Abington, MA, William Mizdail of Tioga, PA, Robert Mizdail, Jeffrey Mizdail and Joseph Mizdail, all of Mansfield, PA; daughters Margaret (David) Colegrove of Tioga, PA, Rebecca (Mark) McConnell of Leadville, CO, Frances Mizdail, and Elizabeth Mizdail, both of Mansfield, PA; grandchildren Laura (Brett) Abel, Matthew (Carol) Colegrove, Jay McConnell, Nikolas Mizdail, Kristian Mizdail and Fatia Young; great grandchildren Scout and Iris Abel, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis, son Gregory Mizdail in 2021, great grandson Mason Abel in 2005, sisters Betty, Jean, Florence, Annie and Mary, and brother Peter. Friends and family are invited to call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Holy Child Catholic Church, 242 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with Reverend Bryan Wright as celebrant.
