Obituary of Paul A. Bogaczyk

Paul A. Bogaczyk, age 82, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at The Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on December 3, 1938 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Ferdinand and Rose (Kordyl) Bogaczyk. Paul was married to the late Polly (Owlett) Bogaczyk. He was self-employed as a carpenter and was a veteran of the United States Army. Paul was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards at camp with his family and hunting. Paul is survived by his sons, Jeff (Julie) Bogaczyk of Grass Valley, CA, and Charlie Bogaczyk of Allentown, PA; a daughter, Rhonda Earle of Liberty, PA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Andrew (Miriam) Bogaczyk of Tioga, PA; five sisters, Diane (Arland) Wood of Elmira, NY, Rosemary (Gary) Adams of Pine City, NY, JoAnn (Jack) Gutshall of Vestal, NY, twin sister, Pauline "Tiny" (Donnie) Plank, and Lottie Nelcoski of Elmira, NY; and his caregiver, Casey Hawk of Covington, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Mark Bogaczyk; a son-in-law, Richard "Rick" Earle; two brothers, Richard and Fred Bogaczyk; and three sisters, Irene Frey, Veronica Wojcik, and Julia McKerrow. In honoring Paul's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Chance Animal Care Sanctuary 725 Gee Rd. Tioga, PA 16946.
