Obituary of Michael Monroe Mader

Michael Monroe Mader, age 64, of Covington, PA, passed away at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born on June 25, 1957, in Williamsport, PA, a son of Albert and Margaret (Smith) Mader. He was a maintenance employee for Walmart. He had also worked for Borden's in Wellsboro, and Agway in Mansfield and Wellsboro. Michael is survived by three sons, Jason Mader of Williamsport, PA, Corey (Anita) Mader, and Lance Ryan (Shawna) Mader of Covington, PA; two daughters, Jasmine Mader of Mansfield, PA, and Alexis Marie Eldridge of Covington, PA; a brother, Ernest Mader; a sister, Violet Mader; nine grandchildren; the mother of his children, Carla Mader; a special friend and caregiver, Kelly Benedict, and her children, Mitchell Porter of Lowman, NY, Danielle Kennedy of Westfield, PA, Andrew Porter of Lowman, NY, and Kelly's husband, Robert Benedict. He was preceded in death by one brother, Francis. In honoring Michael's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA.
