Obituary of Catherine Gotschall

Catherine Gotschall, age 58, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on January 6, 1963, in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Lewis Marble and Esther Root. Catherine was married to Corey Onks. She participated in Relay For Life. Catherine is survived by her husband; two grandchildren, Braedan Cook, and Calleb Huck; three brothers, Roger Marble of Wellsboro, PA, Oliver (Melody) Marble of Mansfield, PA, and Ernie King of Blossburg, PA; three sisters, Floral King of Elmira, NY, Mary Young of Mansfield, PA, and Georgia Gearhart of Erie, PA; and a special friend Patricia (Jeryl) Onks of Blossburg, PA. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristy Brown; and two brothers, Quincey Root, and Steve Marble. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from noon to 1:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Janise Yskamp officiating. Burial will take place in Hills Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
