Obituary of Jeffery Smith

Jeffery Scott Smith, age 54, of California, MD, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was born on February 28, 1967, in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Theodore "Ted" and Alice (Draucker) Smith. Jeffery was a master plumber for over 30 years and enjoyed fishing, crabbing, hunting, being outdoors and feeding deer. He was a water man at heart. Jeffery is survived by his parents; sisters, Deborah Dowd of Tallahassee, FL, and Robin (George) Asbell of Monroe VA; nephews, Charles (Robbie) Heller of Pensacola, FL, Ben (Caitlin) Dowd of Tampa, FL, and Josh Asbell of Lynchburg, VA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and family are invited to call from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will take place in Mainesburg Cemetery. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
