Obituary of Francis Bartlett

Francis "Fran" L. Bartlett age 75 of Williamsport, PA (formally of Tioga, PA) passed away Thursday December 2, 2021. Fran was born on December 5, 1945. He is predeceased by his father Dee Edwin Bartlett (Hazel Bartlett), mother Rita Coy, brother Edwin Dee Bartlett and his aunt & uncle Frances & Donald Townsend. He is survived by his Daughter Nichole L. Shirley, son in-law Scott Shirley, niece Hope (Joseph) Trappler and nephew James Dee Bartlett along with several other nieces & nephews and friends. Fran served with the United States Navy in Vietnam and was a factory worker. He worked for Thatcher (Anchor) Glass in Elmira, NY for 15 years and Ward in Blossburg, PA prior to being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and retiring. Fran was a big sports fan and loved watching baseball, football; especially college football, nascar and he enjoyed hunting for bear & deer in his early years. He could always be found cruising around his Williamsport neighborhood in his power scooter or sitting on his front porch chatting with everyone however, his biggest joy and accomplishment in his life was his daughter. At Fran's request there will be a family visitation from 5 PM to 6 PM an informal service for family on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
