Obituary of Lyle Jones

Lyle M. Jones, age 59, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 28, 1962 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of James and Marietta (Randall) Jones. Lyle was married to Nicole (Kennedy) Jones. He was a foreman for Penn Dot and enjoyed spending time with his family. Lyle is survived by his wife; two sons, Joseph "Joey" (Sheon) Jones of Pittsburgh, PA, and Tyler (Shelby) Jimenez of Blossburg, PA; two daughters, Sherell Jones of Elmira, NY, and Megan Richards of Wellsboro, PA; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild; three brothers, James (Kelly) Jones of Harrisburg, PA, Linford (Andrea) Jones of Pittsburgh, PA, and Michael (Joan) Jones of CA. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Alexis Marie Jones; and two brothers, Gerald and Gerard Jones. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 4-5pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 5pm.
