Obituary of Michele M. Powlison

Michele Coombs Powlison, age 70, of Millerton, PA passed away at her home and went with her angels, on Saturday, April 2, 2022. She was born on December 7, 1951, in Townshend, VT to Floyd and Merna (LaMarche) Mack. She first met and married Alfred Coombs in 1971. He predeceased her on November 30, 1988. After his death, Michele moved to Pennsylvania and married James "Jim" Powlison on October 19, 1991. She was a member of the Daggett United Methodist Church. Michele was a farm wife and had a great love for animals of all kinds. She also enjoyed cooking. Michele is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Jennifer Coombs of Millerton, PA; son, Jason (Carol) Coombs of Lock Haven, PA; grandsons, Ethan and Eli Coombs; sister, Merrilee (Doug) Ficken of Springfield, VT; first mother-in-law, Anna Mae Coombs of Hinsdale, NH. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and a brother, Kevin Mack, who died in 2021. A memorial service will be held at Daggett United Methodist Church, 84 Church St., Millerton, PA 16936, on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 A.M.
