Obituary of Duane Roosa

Duane J. Roosa, age 79, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1942 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Hugh and Edith (Gleason) Roosa. Duane was married to Gloria "Toot" (Cummings) Roosa. He worked for North Penn Gas for 39 years and enjoyed farming. He loved riding around on his side by side with his grandkids and wife. He also enjoyed working and visiting with the all the customers at Me-Ma's Country Kitchen. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Duane is survived by his wife; two daughters, Robin (Marty) Davis of Tioga, PA, and Kimberly (David) Martinowsky of Tioga, PA; five grandchildren, Cameron (Kristen) Loucks, Desiree (Cory) Dauphanais, Randy (Tom) Mosher, Terry (Anntoinett) Irwin, and Shania Dauphinais; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Dave (Peggy) R?oosa of Florida, Janice (Elsworth) Deats of Lawrenceville, PA, Carol (Roger) Dibble of Tunkhannock, PA, and Marge of Ocala, FL; A good friend, Bill Lotter. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michele Dauphinais, and siblings, Lee Roosa, Elwin Roosa, Wanda Buckus, and Doris Sherman. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 31 Limerick Lane, Tioga PA, with Rev. Harry J. Colegrove officiating.
