Obituary of Jennifer R. Nilsen

Jennifer R. Nilsen, age 44 of Covington, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Williamsport Hospital. Jennifer was born October 7, 1977, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Gerould Grosjean of South Carolina, and Janice (Wetherbee) Youmans of Covington, PA. Jennifer was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked in inventory management. She was a member of the Covington United Methodist Church, and enjoyed crafting, sewing, and painting. Jennifer is survived by her parents, Janice (Frederick) Youmans of Covington, Gerould (Cheryl) Grosjean of SC; stepsons Timothy Nilsen of NC and Jarret Nilsen of NV; half-sister Stephanie Grosjean of SC, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a special friend, Allen Boyden. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Clair and Doris Wetherbee, and paternal grandparents Robert and Nila Grosjean. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 1:00 PM at the Covington United Methodist Church, 2169 North Williamson Road, Covington, PA, with Pastor Nate Reeve officiating. The family suggests everyone come dressed comfortably and bring memories to share.
